School La Ferreria

https://agora.xtec.cat/ieslaferreria/

This is the first time that La Ferreria School (Montcada i Reixac) has taken part in IN RESiDENCE, and it is doing so with a group of students in the 3rd year of secondary school.

This school was founded in 1962, coinciding with the devastating floods of 25 September, which swept through much of the Vallès Occidental region.  After five years of non-stop teaching, it was moved from Carrer del Progrés to the Ferreria industrial estate at the beginning of the 1995-1996 school year. In 2002, the school, which until then had been called “IES 25 de Setembre”, adopted the name “Institut La Ferreria”, in keeping with the majority of Montcada i Reixac's citizens.
