The processes that we will initiate with the students and teachers of the Vapor del Fil Secondary School are based around three core aspects. One involves the history of the Fabra i Coats enclosure as a textile factory and its vestiges; in particular, we have heard about the dying warehouses and their deposits, apparently hidden today under the courtyard of the educational spaces and the roadways of the enclosure. The second, following the thread of dye and colour, is connected with the visual perception and with aspects of optics. And the third, with the instruments and technologies of the vision and how they allow us to see or imagine beyond what we have before us, and what their involvement implies. All three aspects cross paths in various questions and practices which we will carry out and mutate together in an open process of artistic research.
