Juana Dolores IN RESiDENCE at the School Escola Eixample
https://ca.wikipedia.org/wiki/Juana_Dolores_Romero_CasanovaJuana Dolores (El Prat de Llobregat, 1992)
All my work is based on the tension between ideology and beauty. I have published Bijuteria (56th edition of the Amadeu Oller Catalan poetry award, 2020, Edicions Galerada) and I SI UNA NACIÓ DESFILANT PER UNA CATIFA VERMELLA -catalan requiem- (2023, Edicions Poncianes). In theatre I have performed, directed and written # JUANA DOLORES # * massa diva per a un moviment assembleari * (2019) and HIT ME IF I'M PRETTY o la princesa moderna (2023), two solo performances that make up the first and second parts of the 1st Trilogy: LA MEVA FEMINITAT -ideology, party, constitution-, a theatrical trilogy, which remains unfinished, on the revolutionary potential of fiction. In the audiovisual sector, I have devised and created LIMPIEZA (2020), an audiovisual pamphlet against the exploitation and discrimination of cleaning and laundry workers, and MISS UNIVERSE (2021), an interview with a ‘Miss’ who reflects on work, violence and love around the concept of eroticism in Georges Bataille.

School Escola Eixample
https://www.ieeixample.cat/This is Institut Escola Eixample's third participation in EN RESiDÈNCiA. After David Franch's creation process, with the mediation of the Teatre Lliure, and Urati Laboratori, with the Centre de les Arts Lliures de la Fundació Joan Brossa, this year they are once again taking part in the programme with a group of third-year ESO students.

Contemporary creation is the core of the educational project of the Institut Escola Eixample, which was created in 2020 following the integration of the former Col·legi Immaculada Concepció school into the public network of educational centres in Barcelona, in a neighbourhood with a high demand for public places.
