Marc Artigau IN RESiDENCE at the School L’Alzina
https://www.grup62.cat/autor/marc-artigau-i-queralt/000046321Marc Artigau i Queralt (Barcelona, 1984) graduated with a degree in Stage Direction and Dramaturgy from the Theatre Institute of Barcelona. As an author or director he has staged Caïm i Abel, Caixes [Boxes] (2011 Talúries de Teatre Award and an honourable mention at the 2011 Nacional Marqués de Bradomín Awards), Arbres , Aquellos días azules, Un mosquit petit and Ushuaia (2008 Ciutat de Sagunt Award and honourable mention at the 2008 Nacional Marqués de Bradomín Awards). As a dramatist, he has worked with Julio Manrique, Oriol Broggi, Àngel Llàcer and Manu Guix and Juan Carlos Martel, among others. Alba (o el jardí de les delícies) won the 2017 Quim Masó Prize.
His published novels include La Vigília (2019 Josep Pla Prize), Els perseguidors de paraules (Pub. Estrella Polar), La cova dels dies (Pub. Fanbooks) and Un home cau and Els coloms de la Boqueria with Jordi Basté (Pub. Rosa dels Vents). His published poetry includes Primers auxilis, Vermella and Desterrats . He has worked with Catalunya Ràdio and currently works with El món a Rac1.

School L’Alzina
www.alzina.catThe L’Alzina secondary school (El Congrés and Els Indians, Sant Andreu) is taking part in the IN RESiDENCE programme for the first time, with a group of third-year compulsory secondary education (ESO) students. L’Alzina contextualises its IN RESiDENCE participation through the transformational processes of the school's education community and its connection with the neighbourhood and city's cultural system.

The L’Alzina Institute was launched in 1982. It is located at one end of the Sant Andreu district, and borders the Navas neighborhood and the Nou Barris and Horta-Guinardó districts. It currently has three ESO and two high school courses.
