La Ribera School (Montcada i Reixac) is participating in IN RESiDENCE for the second time in a row. During the 15th edition (2023-2024), Rodrigo Laviña and a group of 3rd year secondary school students worked on the process of creating “DRAC, BAR, EMPREMTA”, which was presented to the public in the form of a journey through the urban fabric of Montcada i Reixac (June 2024). Subsequently, “DRAC, BARRA, EMPREMTA” has been included in the programme of “Ressonàncies. IN RESiDENCE at Manifesta 15 Barcelona Metropolitana” (2024), at the Tres Xemeneies (Sant Adrià de Besòs). In its 16th edition, La Ribera also participates in the programme with a group of 3rd year secondary school students.

Close to the Besòs River, the area around La Ribera School is undergoing a process of transformation, thanks to the Parc Fluvial de la Ribera project and the Pla de Barris (Neighbourhood Plan) projects. It also works in partnership with the University of Barcelona, as part of the MAGNET programme and with the support of Montcada i Reixac Town Council.
