Nutcreatives IN RESiDENCE at the School Joan Boscà
www.nutcreatives.com/es(Barcelona, 2008). A product and eco-innovation design studio that fully adopts criteria of sustainability and social responsibility in all projects and processes. For the members of this organisation, design does not end with the object, but extends to everything else it entails: the players and people involved in it and the relationship between them and the environment. In other words, they are concerned about - and fascinated by - design understood as a system in which creativity, sustainability, ecological transparency, the social component and promotion of local economic development all play key roles.
The founder-members of Nutcreatives are: Jon Marín, who holds a degree in Biology and a master's degree in Industrial Ecology; and Àlex Jiménez, who has a higher degree in Design and is a technical engineer in Industrial Design, as well as holding a master's degree in Urban Design. Both are teachers at several design faculties and seek to use their creativity and motivation to improve the world around us.
