Oscar Martín Correa (Winterthur, Switzerland, 1977) is a Fine Arts graduate, specialising in Sculpture and New Media, from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV). He is an independent artist, researcher and programmer who works in the field of Algorithmic Poetry and the study of generative and chaotic systems, applied to the artistic context in various formats: sound art, installations and performance, always under the premise of DIY (do it yourself) and DIWO (do it with others). His artistic practice may be understood as a polyhedral knowledge device, in which art, science and technology flow together and hybridise in an unorthodox, critical and experimental approach. Martín was behind the experimental radio platform MetaminaFNR, and was the co-editor of Ursonate Fanzine, the magazine on aural culture and experimental music. He has carried out a number of workshops on open-source creation tools (FLOSS) and on generative systems and computer music. He is part of the Minipimer.tv group. He was also a resident artist at Barcelona's Hangar production centre from 2009 to 2014.

His work has been seen and heard in contemporary art centres and international festivals, including: Audiolab-Medialab Prado (Madrid), LABoral (Gijón), Ràdio del Museu Reina Sofía (Madrid), MOR Museu Oral de la Revolució - Macba (Barcelona), Festival Piksel (Norway), Festival de la Imatge de Manizales (Colombia), Festival Kiblix (Slovenia), Plataforme Intermedia (France), Festival Sonikas (Madrid), Hangar.org (Barcelona), Sónar (Barcelona), Zarata Fest (Bilbao), QO-2 (Belgium), NK project (Berlin).
