The creative project for IN RESiDENCE is based on thinking of the collective vegetable patch or garden as a library of living materials for object design. Design work based on the materials we grow allows us to self-regulate our consumption of resources and provides us with information about our environment. The project is multilayered, with the study of species native to the site, the construction of the garden and its maintenance, as well as the material experimentation of these plants in the context of design.
