UNAIUNA IN RESiDENCE at the School Moisès Broggi
UNAIUNA is interested in humour, irony, sarcasm and in how the body is diluted in images that provoke and directly question the viewer.
UNAIUNA has two lines of interest to explore: the first is born from the pleasure of dancing and, from there, how each individual experiences their pleasure, depending on the emotional state, the environment, the music, the companions, etc. And how the world and situations are constructed from this premise. This is how they created their piece Hacemos como que bailamos (2021), based on workshops and research with people who did not come from the world of dance.
UNAUNA's other interest is their current line of research: how screens and new technologies affect human relationships. It is an area that is more unexplored for them, but they have already started to test how technology emerges and how it may or may not enhance the relationship between the performers.
Both proposals will be explored through play, dialogue and mediation. The intention is to create a safe space where young people can explore both their bodily limits and relate concepts that will lead them to reflect, question and, above all, open up their critical spirit to face the challenges to come.
